About Pamela
Pamela White has an M.A. in English and A.B.D. (all but dissertation toward Ph.D.) from Vanderbilt University. Accredited by the Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW) as an Accomplished Instructor, their highest level, she is the author of IEW’s popular Fix It! Grammar program, now in its fourth edition. She also wrote Essay Writing with Structure and Style for IEW Online.
Ms. White has taught English at various locations since 1985, including Harpeth Hall and University School of Nashville. From 2012 to 2021 she taught and served as Department Head for IEW’s Level C (high school) Online Writing Classes. Currently, she is teaching live English classes online using IEW’s Structure and Style® Writing Method and Fix It! Grammar.
